About This Course
D.Pharm, or Diploma in Pharmacy, is a 2-year diploma course designed for students who want to build a career in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. It provides foundational knowledge in pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, hospital and clinical pharmacy, and drug store management. This course is ideal for students after Class 12 (Science stream), especially those with PCB or PCM subjects. D.Pharm focuses on practical skills and legal knowledge required to dispense medicines and assist in medical settings like hospitals, clinics, or chemist shops. After completing D.Pharm, students become eligible to register as a pharmacist and work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, or even pursue higher studies like B.Pharm through lateral entry.
